"This place has legit the best Cali burrito that I've had. Tacos are amazing too. The employees are friendly and the service is fast. It surprises me that there aren't more customers when I go there cuz it's good quality stuff although the inside isn't that great. It's an awesome place for take out or a quick bite"

"Well, the place was freezing! Probably the coldest indoor place I have ever eaten. Absolutely NO heat and in the winter! My “fish” taco had a rubbery piece of fish that was flat, the size of a graham cracker, no kidding! I asked for a side of beans to compensate for the lack of fish in the taco. The employee seemed surprised but complied with my request. I didn’t even finish the taco. Then an employee came out in the dining area to eat on his break and was listening to something on his phone so loudly that we had to ask him to turn it down. I would give an overall ZERO if possible."

"Prices went up so it's $13.90 for a carne asada plate with tax. Very tasty and you fast cooking time. Waited less than 5 min at 12:00p on Saturday. Their flour tortilla was fantastic. Ordered the 4 carne asada plate."

"Staff is very, very nice and accommodating to requests for more salsa. That's all this place has going for it though. The nachos El Portal are a gigantic pile of chips (some tasted like old oil) with a sprinkle of flavorless carne asada. The carne asada was soft, but had no flavor whatsoever. They're covered in about 1 pound of shredded cheese and tasteless sour cream. Tried to fix the meal by adding salsa (green and red) and salt. That was disappointing. The salsas have no flavor either and all they accomplished was making my food look colorful. No, the visual appeal did not make up for the tastelessness of the meal. The potato rolled tacos would have been tasty had they been seasoned and not covered in 5 pounds of shredded cheese and coarsely chopped iceberg lettuce. The tortillas also tasted like they'd been fried in old oil and the amount of potatoes actually in the taco is laughable at best. Their dining area has giant roll up hangar windows which is lovely if you like eating and swatting flies away in-between each bite of the underwhelming food. If you want delicious Mexican food, there are much better options in this are that are only a few minutes down the street."
