"The food was amazing! The owner, Juan, is very friendly and I can see that he works very hard. His customer service is superb and he is very fluent in both English and Spanish. It feels very inviting inside of the restaurant, as there is beautiful history, art, & groovin’ Latin music playing. I will definitely be back with some of my friends, as they too need to try the pupusas from Cuscatlan! Also, the price point is amazing. That usually means that they run a good business that relies on volume. The food came out hot and on time!"
"The service here was very good, very attentive and friendly, and the food was overall good, as well. The prices are affordable, unbeatable, and the setting is very casual and friendly. A nice place to meet up with friends and grab a quick bite."
"I walked into a very Latin American, refreshing, clean and diverse atmosphere. There is beautiful and authentic artwork on the walls painted by great artists. They were playing Latin music and the employees were friendly. I asked the girl working there what the most el Salvadoran dish is and she guided me to get the combination dish with the famous “papusa”. I got all the sauce and utensils I needed and dove in with no hesitation, after praying of course. The Tamale was so so delicious… perfectly juicy and savory. The plantains were the perfect balance of texture and taste. Everything changed when I bit into the shrimp papusa, it was some of the best food I ever had. Im definitely considering taking my family back here and coming again. 10/10"
"Ordered a couple of different pupusa’s. The beef one didn’t have a lot of beef in it (it could have just been that single pupusa & how it was made idk.) I loved the mushroom one (would definitely order that again.) my husband order the food and said customer service was cool. Parking can get tight (it’s not a super big lot.) just don’t go around lunch or dinner rush. They also offer a whole menu of other Salvadorian food. I Would come back here to try other items."
"We came here for pupusas and were not disappointed! I've come here for takeout before but the food is much more delicious fresh when dining in. We got the combo plate with the pupusas, plantains, and yuca, among other sides. The chicharrón and queso pupusas are delicious. The interior decorations are Salvadorian decorations as well as art and fun facts about the country. Overall it was a great experience and a nice dinner to have with family."
