"I saw the photos and gave it a try. It's a menu on the wall when you walk it. Be prepared to have to decide quickly what to eat. They ring it up as you stand there (family of 3 was $53 without drinks). The register immediately requires a tip of %20 (or whatever you choose) for whatever you're going to eat. A plastic cup lets you self serve a beverage. You sit at a table with number and a runner brings you your order. My avocado bacon burger was actually not that great. I was hungry and easily appeased, but not today. The meat was not tasty, the bacon was not tasty and basically falls apart as you try to eat it stuffed with shredded lettuce. We also ordered a shrimp scallop sandwich. It was toasted sourdough with a slaw mess inside. An also fall apart as you eat it example. The staff did seem pleasant and the bathroom was clean. I wouldn't bring my family again. Too hipster for me, I suppose."

"This place is great! I went here to get a pulled pork sandwich with fries and it was amazing. The sandwich was spectacular and omg the fries kinda blew my mind. Most places just have decent fries, but these were amazing! While waiting I saw everything else they had on the menu and honestly everything else they had sounds delicious. I went again and they weren’t quite open but the nice girl at the register served me anyways and was incredibly friendly and polite! Definitely recommend!"

"It’s been a hot minute but I bet you are hungry! Today we hit up @hbrothers_esco for lunch and as usual the portion size was hearty, the flavor profile was deep, and the staff was the best! How should we describe H Brothers, maybe as a New Orleans infused anchor of the food scene in downtown Escondido. Today we found our favorites on the chalkboard wall menu, western crispy chicken, Cuban torta, Parmesan encrusted grilled chicken, and house made chips. The torta was a whole meal and then some with an egg, pineapple, ham and beef that was worth the calories. Both chicken sandwiches were packed with flavor and filled us up. They also have a cool bar with several local brews on tap. Even a few brass instruments as decor. You can miss at H Brothers, we give them all the stars."

"Casual restaurant and beer / wine bar with an interesting broad selection of food. I liked it so much I came back the next day. Pulled pork plate was great and so was the brisket salad the next day. Interested in trying a few more menu options"

"This place is great. The brothers are awesome and always take the time to chat with us and give outstanding customer service. They pay attention to detail and make you feel at home. The chicken Caesar wrap is simply amazing. Not something I’d usually write home about, but you gotta try to see what I mean. Boyfriend had the burger and it was juicy and flavorful. We have had quality food and service every time we have been there. Highly recommend a stop!!"
