"My family and I have been going to Yanni's Bar & Grill probably as early as 2016-2017 and they have been nothing short of an outstanding restaurant business! Yanni and Denise are great owners and my family and I appreciate that the relationship and rapport that they've built with us over time. They've also been reliable hosts and caterers for my family's events such as my college graduation party, wedding rehearsal dinners, post-wedding brunches, you name it! And something they've really stepped up in doing lately are their dinner specials. I loved their chicken parmesan (which I am eagerly waiting its return) and their creamy tomato rotini pasta. "We went as a walk in and asked for outside seating but were given a wobbly corner table inside even though there was like tons of open space outside. They gave us some bread which was cold and then we ordered a few things like hummus( totally overpriced, not worth the taste), baked chicken pizza which was good, linguine pesto which has waayyyyy too much pesto since it started to taste a bit bitter. The good thing was only chocolate budino(really good taste) Over all an Ok ok place, not really very tasteful food that you would expect."

"Update review: I brought my parents in law here because my husband and I believe they would love this place. And we are right. This restaurant becomes one of their favorite restaurants in San Diego. Everyone had a great time here. Something amazed us other than the delicious Mediterranean foods are their homemade desserts. We had two desserts, tiramisu and cheesecake. Both of them are heavenly delicious. I one hundred percent recommend this restaurant. Previous review: I want to highly recommend you this super good restaurant! We came here twice before but couldn’t get in because it was full. So don’t forget to book a reservation about a week before your dinner date, especially for weekend’s. We tried a couple of items from their Valentine’s Day special menu, the lamb shank with pasta was so delicious. The lamb shank is very tender, the sauce is perfect to eat together with pasta. We also had a calamari which is perfectly cooked as well. The flavor is not too heavy and super great. Also we had their special big baklava, it’s very yummy, and big! They have a lot of drink positions. You will totally enjoy here, please come to try it out."
