"Villa Capri is a family favorite! Always amazing food and great service! You feel like an extension of the family! The food is delicious and they happily help us customize for kids with no sauce or cheese on the side. The lasagna is amazing! The appetizers are on point- can’t go wrong with the capers or burrata salad… the margarita or other wood fired pizzas… and the specials are amazing- especially the scallops! The veal piccata was also mouth watering delicious! Highly recommend! Oh and save room for dessert!!"

"Very good food, nice locally owned restaurant and great wait staff including Brian. Mondays are no corkage fee so it was pretty busy, Tuesdays are 50 % off select bottles of wine. We shared two salads, had salmon, chicken piccata and linguine with scallops and clams and shared creme brûlée for dessert. Everything was delicious."

"Amazing food and amazing service! Our waiter was wonderful and obviously very passionate about his job. The food was delicious and left us wanting more even though it was extremely filling. The portion sizes are generous for the quality. The only negative thing I could say is the outdoor dining is very close to the parking lot (maybe a fence would help?), but the indoor seating is very pleasant. Definitely order the calamari for an appetizer, you will not be disappointed in the quality or the quantity! Can’t wait to eat here again!"

"We had an excellent dinner at Villa Capri. We learned that they recently hired a new chef who is from Italy and he revamped the menu according to his vision. The new menu features more daring options such as pasta with wild boar and mushrooms or ricotta pasta in velvety lemon sauce. I must say the food tasted authentic and it transported us to memories of our Italian Holidays. The staff was very attentive and knowledgeable. They kept on checking on us. We had two dogs with us since we dined outside on their patio and they even offered a special dog menu which consisted of three healthy choices. We ordered Cesar salad, eggplant parmigiana, pasta with wild boar, fried calamari, linguine con fruitte del mare. I only regret we had no room for dessert. But we will be back to try more. Excellent job chef!"

"What a hidden gem. This is one of the most authentic tastings Napolitano restaurants I have found in the San Diego area. The food is fresh hot and inviting. Certain foods I miss from Naples, Gnocchi and Spaghetti ala Carbonara. The sauce must contain egg yolk to be authentic. Most places skip this process and give you Alfredo sauce. Pizza Parma is also a missed food The Chef is originally from Naples, Italy."
