"The Friendly burgers I loved the ambience, basic street local restaurant, music and staff are cool. I had the dirty flat top and the All American with a side of fries and a Coke for 23$, a great deal compared to other burger places. Good amount of customers for a Monday night at 8:30 to be honest. Coke is bottled, a nice change from the fountain, no refill though which is a huge downside. There are multiple locations, not sure if this is the first one though ————————— Burgers are juicy, fries are very salty, not really good. Burgers are all what u expect in a typical smash burger, a juicy patty with a good amount of cheese. The All American is just the dirty flat top with ketchup, pickles, and mustard Honestly just go for the Dirty flat top here, it is the deal. Fries: 3/10 Dirty flat top: Enjoyed it, 8/10 -1 for size, idk it was just too small -1 for the amount of cheese, it was really generous I couldn’t fully enjoy the good beef. Note: I loved the crispy feel on the outside of the patties. All American: 6/10, just not my type when it comes to burgers. -1 for size -1 amount of cheese -2 Because the ketchup and mustard amounts are just alot, did not taste the patty. Overall: 7/10 -1 for no refill -1 for disgusting fries -1 for only having one good burger, perfect it all please or do not have it on the menu and keep it simple with one burger Definitely coming back as it is relatively cheap(8$ for the dirty flat top) and the quality of the Dirty Flat top is quite pleasing. Best burgers? I hope not, there is definitely room for a better burger."

"The meat and cheese burger was great. Love how smokey and crispy the patty tasted. They were out of bottled water though at the time. Fries were ok"

"Best burger in San Diego. I got the OG Dirty Flat Top. Cheesey, crispy, and simple. The location on University has a chill atmosphere and relaxed outdoor seating. Bring a coat in the winter here, I didn’t see any outdoor heaters."

"PB and North Park locations feature poor service. It’s basically owned and run by mostly sad, dull and very vanilla punks. They should rename it The Unfriendly. Now onto the food. The hamburger is very good and for seven dollars, it’s a step above In-N-Out. Going into this establishment knowing that the poor service will always be there…the hamburger makes up for some of it. What makes it cute is that even have a sign that sort of states the poor service. I actually think they get off to it."
