"My boyfriend and I used to live in San Diego and we’d go to the Latin Chef at Liberty Station all the time. He’s Peruvian and loves the Jalea at that location. When the added a restaurant to Oceanside we were thrilled! We ordered the Jalea, it was just as good as we remembered and we will by celebrating my birthday there again this week. YUM!"

It's been two long years without fresh ceviche de pescado and now with La Indita's founder opening a restaurant in San Diego County all that culinary experience and dedication is accessible without a trip up or down the coast. The entree prices aren't bargain-rate but there are only a few places in the area to sample this unique fusion of the cuisines of Japan, Spain and the Andes. The Spanish videos accompanying the background music really are off a Peruvian feed, often with karaoke subtitles, and there are much less entertaining, nourishing and delicious ways to part with $25."

"Really amazing authentic Peruvian menu. So many flavors and huge portions. Wife, son and I shared two appetizers, two entrées, and the ice cream dessert, and everything was amazing. While they still need to figure out their TV and/or music situation, and whether they're a dine-in or takeout restaurant, they have nailed the foundation, the menu. You will not be disappointed."
