Los Tacos

"having moved away from California, we're always in search of great Mexican food when we visit. Driving to a Staples, we espyed Los Tacos. Great sign when the place is packed on a holiday at 2 pm. Had the San Diego Burrito - spicy chicken and beans with side of rice and beans and free side of chips (pay by cash). Burrito was fresh, big, and tasty, with hints of peanuts and pineapple. The salsa bar was great too- had the spicy house special, the medium tomatillo, and the pickled onions. Definitely recommend coming."

"Love this place the food is always good. But the best part is seeing Joe. He is so warm and friendly and always provides fantastic service. His personality is amazing never stop being bright like a star Joe."

"Inside it looks nice. Menu is not easy to read. Owner didn’t help much in explaining the menu and the specials they have. Food is barely okay. Tasted bland. This plate is $13. It is way overpriced! Plates were inconsistently made. My plate came out looking the best. My family’s other plates didn’t look like mine. We didn’t have a bad experience with customer service. But I can definitely see how people had bad experiences here. You don’t feel welcomed when you walk in. They just take your order and they never speak to you again. I would not recommend this place, nor would I come back."

"Me and my bf had been ordering door dash from this place and decided to dine in tonight. The consomé was WOW. Just the right amount of flavor and piping hot. I also ordered three birria tacos with cheese. The toppings come on the side which I love because that way I can control how much goes in my taco. The salsas are also pretty amazing and they have signs labeling the different spice levels, ingredients. I ended up choosing the salsa fresca which for me is just enough spice to enjoy my food lol. My bf got the cheesesteak burrito and the meat was juicy, tender and well seasoned. He added guacamole and it tasted fresh. Not store bought at all. I can’t lie, I couldn’t leave this place without taking some tamales to go. I’ll update later on what I think about those. The service was great, quick and friendly. The restaurant was super clean and well organized. Overall, will be back!"
