"Amazing food and service. Very cute little restaurant and a much more chill vibe than most of downtown Encinitas. Lots of vegetarian and pescatarian options!"
"We started with Chicharon with vinegar sauce as an appetizer, it arrived at the table crackling hot! We both ordered the lunch special, one spicy chicken adobo and one braised beef stew, each came with garlic rice, pancit and lumpia. Everything tasted like pure cozy comfort and love. Mary was our amazing host, super attentive and kind. Over all CARiN de RiA was affordable, delicious and had incredibly welcoming energy. We will definitely be coming back soon and with loved ones in tow!"
"It is located in Encinitas close to the beach. There is plenty of street parking. Food is delicious. Whatever you order here, you would enjoy. Order the family you get to try several dishes with an appetizer included. We ordered kare-kare, garlic fried rice, lumpia, and halo-halo for dessert."
"First visit. Cute Fiipino restaurant. Good menu. Beer and Wine served. Great lunch specials for $13 (at this writing July 2023). I wish I had ordered that but I was craving halo-halo and pancit canton to celebrate my birthday. Noodles for long life. Yeah! Ambiance: 5 ☆ Charming deco. Try it for date night. Open until 8pm. Indoor/outdoor seating. Pancit canton 3.5 stars. Noodles used were different, missing authentic pancit canton taste, and the cooking oil leaves a "taste" in your mouth. Halo-halo: 3.5 ☆. Needs red beans and evap milk. SERVICE: 5 ☆. Archie (owner) was attentive, warm, welcomes guests with friendly smile - a Filipino hospitality "trademark" that goes a long way. Restroom: 5 ☆. Very clean. Menu: 5 ☆. They have sizzling sisig and other delicacies. I'll come back to try other dishes. Glad they survived the pandemic. Street parking: Easy on Monday lunch time. Highly recommend. They also cater."
"I grew up eating my mom's Filipino food, but I turned vegetarian after I married my vegetarian husband. This is the first time in my 7 years of being vegetarian, where I had Filipino food that was not only vegetarian, but tasted so good that it brought me back to eating in the Philippines as a little girl. On top of that, the owners were so nice and friendly. This is my new favorite place. I haven't felt this happy after a meal in quite awhile."
