Mega Burgers

"The silverware was clean. I had the Gyro dinner with salad. The lettuce was not wilted. It was fresh. Everything was hot and tasted great. Service was kind and attentive. Quality and price, This place is definitely a favorite of mine."

"I ordered a steak dinner medium-rare. I got home and opened my meal to an extra well done steak and the heal of a piece of plain white bread cut in half and toasted for my dinner bread. I am very disappointed. I do NOT recommend this place at all."

"Disclaimer: I am not a self entitled Karen that expects to be treated like royalty like Archduke Ferdinand or something. The employees were very friendly and accommodating whenever I had any questions. The food was of the highest caliber. The food was a bit expensive though. The presentation of this exquisite burger can only be rivaled by beef cut off of Back At The Barnyard’s Otis the cow himself. As each moment passed I found it increasingly difficult not to frisbee more and more zucchini discs into my mouth. A true delicacy. Each disk acted as a record and and my tongue as the record player. (Not smut). The ambiance of the restaurant reminded me of a liminal abandoned restaurant that one might stumble upon in the middle of an apocalypse. Untouched and perfectly well kept but it w was as late and nobody was there hence the liminal space comment. Ultimately, I believe this was an overwhelmingly positive experience and we will be returning. The mini claw machine tied the whole experience together."

"This was my first visit to the newly re-named Mega Burgers, after years of patronizing its predecessor Johnny's Phillysteak. The first change I noticed is that dine-in customers are now served at the table, including taking your order. Before, all orders were entered at the counter. Next change: New monitors with the bill of fare, replacing the former plastic lettering. The paper menus are new, too, and very colorful. The offerings run the gamut of mostly fried foods with some cold sandwiches, including a small selection of grinders and a few salads. I came in craving a good burger, so I chose the Double Cheese Combo ($8.50 plus $4.99). The presentation was nice (see my photo), the patties were large, the cheese slices were firm, and the bun was fresh. The generous portion of fries was well-cooked and was dusted with a seasoned salt that is heavy on paprika. The menu says they offer milk shakes but none were available on the day I visited. Instead, I chose an Orange Whip and took advantage of the unlimited, self-service refills. Service-wise, I was greeted by staff when I came in, directed to take any available seat, and my order was taken by a bilingual waitress, who was knowledgeable about the products. She delivered my meal and renewed my drink once, but was MIA the rest of the time. Cleanliness seemed up to par and some redecorating has taken place, but the upholstery on the booths has not been upgraded. Overall, the new iteration of this Yucaipa Boulevard mainstay is an improvement. Mega Burgers is Recommended."

"Ulises was so friendly and the service was first class. I had the crispy chicken salad with a side of delicious bread and a coke. the chicken serving was plentiful and delicious. This was my first time but most definitely wont be my last. I cant wait to bring my family also. Thank you Ulises for your exceptional customer service. I highly recommend Mega Burgers!"
