"We ate here on Leap Day 2023. We made the reservation as a birthday meal not realizing that they were doing a special Leap Day prix fixe dinner that included 5 courses and wine parings. This was AMAZING. It gave us the chance to try dishes and wines that we may not have otherwise ordered. Every single thing we ate and drank was incredible. The service was fantastic and the atmosphere and decor in the restaurant is perfect. Its been 4 days and I can't stop thinking about the Roti!"
"Be prepared for a very unique experience sampling Balinese /indonesian cuisine. Food is authentic and servers are friendly and very informative on the food /drinks. Place is decorated with hippie art that pleases the eyes!"
"It has a dim lit industrial vibe, so it would be great for a date. Food has phenomenal flavors, definitely all small plates so prepare to order 2 per person at least. Definitely recommend the charred eggplant!"
"Excellent place for some inspired food. We were looking for some Indonesian food and Dija Mara came up as an option. It has some great takes on traditional food, where many places will give you food like you Oma made, Dija Mara gives you a modern take on it, its something fresh and delicious even if your already a fan. The servers were friendly and great, the bar had some interesting drink options, and the casual atmosphere fit couples, solos, groups of friends, and what looked like a child's birthday party without and disjointed feel. I would highly recommend. One note, they keep the menu fresh so always check with your server as the menu may not reflect what they are actually serving. The desert we ordered was not the one on the menu, it was still excellent just not what we were expecting."
"The food is very good, and service, which is the most important! I only wish they had pictures of the food on the menu so we could see what to expect. My husband liked the beef tartar, but would not have gotten it if he knew it came on bread. I wouldn't say the food is Balinese, but the rice and fried chicken reminded me of Bali; it was very good! The sambal is not like the kind in Bali, but maybe from another area in Indonesia. Anyway... go to this restaurant if you're interested in the indo cuisine. The restaurant is small, dark, and the decorations are street scene with uncomfortable chairs. Don't expect anything fancy and just come for the food and service."
