"Unveiling Hidden Basement Bars: A Review of The Cellar Tucked away beneath the bustling streets lies The Cellar, an extraordinary hidden gem that promises an unforgettable experience. Venturing into this subterranean sanctuary on a Saturday night, we were greeted by the pulsating beats of live music, setting the stage for an evening of intrigue and indulgence. While the music leaned towards the classics of old rock and roll, it may not have been entirely our cup of tea. Nevertheless, the vibrant energy and live performance added an undeniable charm to the atmosphere, creating an intimate setting that beckoned us to stay a while longer. As for the libations, while the drinks may have come at a premium, they certainly didn't disappoint. Each sip was a symphony of flavors, crafted with care and precision, ensuring a truly indulgent experience. However, the true star of the show was the dessert – a delectable treat that tantalized the taste buds and left us craving for more. In conclusion, The Cellar is a hidden gem worth uncovering for those seeking an intimate live music setting accompanied by top-notch drinks. While the prices may lean towards the higher end, the overall experience more than makes up for it, offering a memorable journey into the depths of indulgence."
"Can’t remember the last time I felt so bad after eating somewhere that I wanted to write a review. Went here for a family dinner and every aspect of the meal sucked. It was busy inside and for some reason the owner didn’t realize that an underground bunker would need some kind of sound dampening so I don’t have to hear 15 conversations echoing off the walls at once. I ordered an “apple cider old fashioned” that I think was actually just apple cider. 20$ for a watered down drink is great! Next I ordered a burger medium rare that literally came out mushy and pink inside. Next morning and my stomach is still hurting from eating just half of the burger. The service was decent but with how busy they were, there definitely needed to be more servers. Our server was running around and doing his best, but it really didn’t feel great as a customer. For how expensive this place is you would really expect a better experience with good drinks, food and service."
"Great spot for cocktails, but I food and live music. Gets loud if crowded though. Decent apps too like Artichoke dip."
"Quaint, quick & delicious spot for food & beverages in the basement of the Ponte Vineyard Inn. Sat at the bar, the Bartendar was very personable & made a delicious old-fashioned. The food was delicious, we had the pear Flatbread, Tuscan salad, charcuterie board & the short ribs entree. Highly recommend."
"Excellent Service in a great location. The menu is great, in our party we had the Sirloin, the Salmon and the Tomato Bisque with the Grilled Cheese. They were all excellent. A great variety of drinks and the atmosphere is perfect."
