"It’s so cute inside!! I got Mac n cheese and it was cold and under seasoned. Chicken again cold and under seasoned. Brisket cold with a nice seasoned crust but that’s were the flavor stops. The brisket did melt in your mouth but definitely is lacking flavor. It was 1:30pm when we went not busy at all and it was Sunday. Everyone was nice and friendly. But the food really needs help. Oh I did get “collard greens” yes cold the meat that was in it was over cooked and dried out, the greens had a can flavor the broth was the only thing that had any flavor and I think it was the amount of salt that was added. Would not go here or recommend this to anyone. My husband liked the brisket sandwich that he covered in bbq sauce so…"
"I'm going to be completely honest and tell you that the only thing we had was the brisket. We had already ordered food elsewhere and this was a last second addition to that. Brisket is our measuring stick when it comes to BBQ and this place serves the best we've had. We will definitely come back and try out the rest of the menu and update review at that time."
"Great BBQ in the Temecula area. We ordered the full spread which was enough for the six of us. The brisket was the best on the platter. There is also a bar in the building that has really good cocktails."
"We decided to try this place, I am so glad we did. The place is very casual with family style seating, since it’s a food court. The gentleman behind the counter was friendly and gave good suggestions since it was our first time. My husband had the pulled pork, and I had the beef brisket. The meat just melts in your mouth. The bbq sauce was not overpowering, it was smooth and flavorful. We plan on definitely coming back. If your looking for good food this is worth the stop."
"I'd read online that this placed served a Cubano Sandwich, a real favorite when I lived in New York City. The restaurant is a food counter within a mini food court called The Cookhouse in a very cute retail development called Vail Headquarters. It's the site of an historic old ranch, with modern theming to match, surrounded by strip malls along Temecula Parkway. To cut to the chase, I didn't like my Cubano. The food was high quality, if very pricey and small but certainly large enough to satisfy. But they used heavily smoked and BBQ-rubbed pork which didn't marry well, I thought, with the traditional Cubano ingredients of swiss cheese, mustard and pickles. I don't mind "re-inventing" classic foods as long as the result is tasty. This was just bizarre and kind of unpleasant. Sorry. No seating indoors now for Covid 19 but plenty of picnic tables outdoors. And plenty of free parking adjacent."
