"I have passed by this place countless times saying to myself, "I got to try that place". Our family finally stopped by for the first time. The experience was awesome! Jose was so nice to my daughter, it was her birthday and her idea to stop by. We purchased lechon sandwiches, empanadas (all of them except ham and cheese), tostones, and arroz congri. Everything was amazing! Jose took care of us. He also let us try some mamey smoothies while we were waiting and they were delicious. I did not know about this fruit. Jose's passion for his food, family, and culture was evident through out our conversation. He was also interested in our day and gave my daughter a picadillo empanada, wow she was in heaven. We went back a week later and the wife (I did not catch her name) was so nice. We purchased guava pastries, the Cuban sandwich, the lechon plate, the picadillo plate, and a large side of the Cuban rice. Everything was amazing again! The portions are on point. Everything is so flavorful. We will be going back to try some other items on their menu. Delicious good, nice portions, and great customer service what more can you ask for?"

"Absolutely delicious food. The ambiance and service has that friendly, you know the owner and staff vibe That cubano is spot on with the flavor profile, plus sooo tender and those in house made chips are awesome and compliment the sandwich well along with the hot sauce dip to cut through the porky-ness on the sandwich. The portion sizes are filling and those black beans are nice and lightly flavored just right. Every guest with me enjoyed the food and plan to come back. Happily celebrating my father that is no longer with us, birthday...Costa Rica is close to Cuba kinda sorta right? The best cuban food I've ever eaten!!! Try it, bring it to your game day...you will not be disappointed."

The owner is so down to earth and proud of his restaurant as they should be because this place is paradise. Will definitely be coming again to try other items on their menu."

"For me, this food overall was not good. The main dish I went in for was the oxtails. They cost too much for the small amount you get. It's not worth the price. The sauce on the Oxtails was good, and that was about it. The beef Empanada I got was mostly hollow inside and not as flavorful as I would think cuban food should be. This was my experience. Yours may have been better or would be better, so I have no recommendation of someone else going or not going to try it."
