"I recently visited Elaichi Co. in Berkeley and had a delightful experience. The Elaichi Chai was rich and flavorful, while the Elaichi Bun exceeded expectations with its delightful layers of cardamom. They added a unique and memorable twist to the traditional bun. The ambiance was perfect for studying, offering a comfortable atmosphere, and plenty of plugs to charge my laptop. It's definitely a spot worth revisiting!"

"The ambience is chic and the staff is friendly. However, I went in expecting authentic chai taste with elaichi flavours. The chai seemed to be reheated multiple times and had a bitter taste to it. It had no flavour of elaichi too. (Elaichi is one of the ingredients mentioned). We ordered the pistachio loaf, nan Khatai and elaichi bun. We visited at 6pm and they were already out of the nan khatai and elaichi bun. The staff nicely apologised and asked us if we would like to get a refund or try something else. We decided to try the rusk. The Nankhatai and rusk were both very fresh and very tasty- the right amount of sweet. The menu is small and simple, staff is courteous and the location is very cute. There’s street parking available and you can find a lot of college students doing homework in the cafe making it difficult to find seating easily."

"Today is Pineapple Express day in the Bay Area. Perfect day for some Kakar Chai and an Elaiche Bun. The Elaiche Bun is perfection in flavor. The Kakar Chai was served so fast (~a min) that I don't think it was freshly brewed, so they may just be brewing chai on the spot. It gave me a bit of a Bubble milk tea taste, but above all, satisfying! I like that they have standing tables."
