"I’ve been wanting to try this place for a long time. I was finally able to make it and I’m stoked I did. What’s better thank sushi and cocktails together. I ordered the Hot Cheeto Roll, the DTR roll, and the Old Fashioned. The Hot Cheeto roll was delicious but I mean let’s be honest, anything with hot Cheeto crumbs added automatically goes up in value! The DTR roll, at first I was a little skeptical of the lemon slice in a sushi roll, mostly because I’ve never had it before. But let me say, the lemon made the roll that much better. It’s definitely my favorite roll. My favorite drink is an old fashioned and I love Japanese whiskey. This was a first for me and it was amazing. I highly recommend Maki on your next sushi night. I will definitely be back."

"I’ve been a bartender here since opening and I can finally say I have a good go-to Sushi and Poke spot in Downtown Riverside! I was instantly hooked on the DTR roll, the lemon on this roll compliments the salmon so well and add the perfect bit of citrus to a bite. My 2 year old was a big fan of the seaweed salad and cali roll so it’s definitely picky eater approved. The ambiance is very fun and friendly, music is great and all staff is welcoming. Stop by and let me make you my favorite drink on the menu!"

Love that they keep it exciting with daily specials. The place has this fun and sexy ambiance, making it the perfect place to grab food and drinks before going dancing. Great food, drinks, and just the right vibes to kick start a fun time in DTR."
