"Love the vibe. Love the photo ops. Very cool, creative space. However, I only got half my food and my friend got someone else’s food. When the waitress realized her mistake she took the food and then gave it to the other person at a different table. Never came back with boxes or check. When we asked, she did bring the check, but she took my rice and beans. I didn’t notice until I was packing up my food. Why would you throw away half of my food without asking? I had only taken about two bites of each. I am so sad. Good place. Service could be improved."
"Came here with family to grab dinner, it took about 35-40 minutes to get our food (the place was not full). The burrito my fiancé got was EXTREMELY salty, we mentioned it to the server because she didn’t eat it, and nothing was done. They do NOT care about customer satisfaction. The music was also VERY loud and we couldn’t even talk to each other. Also, I ordered the Asada tacos, and the meat was really rubbery. I had to spit some of it out because it was not even edible. Not worrying about customer satisfaction is just not good business. It appears to be one of those places that caters to local regulars, and not randoms coming in to try a new place."
"Great drinks! Love the micheladas. Great service! Nice atmosphere, great music (it's a little loud here, so not so great to chat because it got a bit loud)"
"We ordered a molcajete. Totally not worth it at all for the price. It was $37 plus taxes of course. Their sauce was not tasty and the servings were very SMALL. I expected more meat on it since I was paying about $40.l, but no. Their sides were also a joke. The rice and beans were in miniature containers. Then they give you the smallest salsa container for your chips and food. We were a group of 4. We ordered several dishes and we were given one small basket of chips with Only 1 small regular salsa container. The containers are the same size than the ones you get a a regular taco stand. However, you can get more on the tacos stands/trucks lol We did ask for another salsa to continue eating our chips ,but they brought it with our food instead…. So they brought our food with only one small salsa container for the whole table! The waitress was nice, but the food and the whole experience in general was not worth our money. I don’t mind spending a little more money if the food is good and portions are good, but that was not the case and it is not like I went to a really high end restaurant…. Not returning."
"First and foremost, the restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful! The time and effort put into its ambiance design is well executed. Beautiful Katrina art is displayed all over the walls, blended with artificial floral designs, really put the place together. There are 2 spots for photo opps, and the size of the restaurant is fairly small. Now, the reason for the low star review is the food itself and the music choice when we walked in. We ordered a shrimp cocktail and a Carne asada wet burrito. The cocktail was missing that traditional cotail taste. It felt very bland. The shrimp size was great, but the taste was not what you find in traditional Mexican food places. The wet burrito red sauce was also lacking flavor. Very bland. The carne asada has no "wow" factor. Simple, bland meat. Our server (Brandon) was attentive and did his best to make sure we were taken care of. Service was good. Music: I don't understand how you're going to have a MEXICAN restaurant and play other artist simply because they're "trending." If you're going to monetize off of the Mexican culture, the least you can do is play actual MEXICAN artist on the speakers. Please!"
