"It’s a hit or miss when ordering Pupusas. If they aren’t busy you’ll get your order. If they have to many phone orders you’ll wait at least 30min or more. I don’t know why they usually only have one person in the kitchen. Be aware and order ahead especially for phone orders. They also use one of the popular food ordering/delivery apps."
"Daily specials offered; we tried their Fish Tacos, Carne Asada Quesadilla, Two Pupusa Special, Platanos and Corn Tamale (really bad). Fish Tacos were okay.. the fish was bland (flavorless) but was overall acceptable. The Carne Asada Quesadilla (Corn Tortilla) was also okay but the Carne Asada seemed more like ground beef (so small, see pictures). The saving grace were the Pupusas (kind of hard to mess pupusas up); they were good (queso con loroco with beans) but were lacking on the loroco side.. still good though. The Platanos (and everything else) were served with a tiny portion of beans and a side of lukewarm plain white Daisy brand sour cream; when we asked if they had any Salvadoran or Latin American Sour Cream they didn't even know what we were talking about.... the worst part of the experience was being served a defrosted+microwaved Corn Tamale (also served with plain American/Daisy sour cream; which is basically the equivalent of going to an Italian restaurant and getting Ketchup instead of Marinara sauce, ugh!); it was very hard and dry and made us lose our appetite (see pictures/video). I'm all for supporting small businesses and frequent diverse ethic restaurants.. but it's hard for me to recommend this restaurant for anything other than maybe their Pupusas (only reason for the 2 Stars); it's the type of place locals go to for a quick cheap bite during their dollar specials.. but probably not a place you'd want to bring someone to share a meal. Server/Cashier also didn't seem to know the price of anything and needed to go to the back to answer basic questions like the price of items and whether or not their Tortillas/Tamales were made in-house..."
"Wednesday Special $1 Pupusas!!!!! Don't make the lady mad because she will tell you whats up. I really haven't tried anything else, just come here for the special. But don't mistake it with the place next door, this is the spot in the corner."
"This place used to be decent but a lot of the ingredients changed including the quality, quantity and size. I would not recommend them at all. Pupusa day is Wednesday and you can get pupusas for a dollar each. If you disregard my review than Wednesday would be the day to come."
"Idky this place is rated 3.7 stars. They definitely deserve a 5 star rating! The food is soooo good especially the pupusas de chicharron. Deliciouso! I can't wait to go back and try the other menu items."
