"This is my second time coming to this restaurant. My first time was over 15 years ago, I am not sure if it's the same owner(s). It was a weekend, and the Menudo was very good. This more recent time was it was for my lunch and during the work week. It was not busy at all. The server was very nice and polite. Spoke both Spanish and English. The atmosphere was relaxed, soft music in the background. I wanted a light lunch and went with a shrimp cocktail. It was a sold 3.8/5, nothing wrong with it. I do want to come back for the menudo and see if it's still their best plate. If you are in the area and want mexican food, I would recommend it."

"Reminiscent of the old school Mexican restaurants that have all closed up. The food is pretty authentic, I'm sure everything has lard in it, but that's what makes it good. The salsa is good, but not chunky at all. Just thin liquid. The biggest issue is that everything is VERY salty. So much so that we left with swollen fingers and hands. Some dishes are super inexpensive and others are insanely priced. It still wasn't cheap though, 5 people in the party and everyone had water. It was just over $100."

"The food looks amazing unfortunately it did not taste great. It was extremely salty. It was so salty I could not eat past a few bites. Also, both the green and red sauce were extremely spicy hot. It was unbearable to eat. The shrimp still had the black string which is poop. This means the shrimp was not cleaned properly before making it. The meat in the tacos was extremely hard as though it was from the day before. We were pretty much the first customer so that may have been the case. The waitress was very friendly and after I gave her feedback at the end she offered to have the cook make the meal again. It was a hard pass for me and my guest as we both left. It was also a waste of money. Again, it looked great but tasted terrible overly salty/ spicy and the shrimp was not cleaned before cooking."

"I've been to the restaurant twice now. They are hidden next to 7eleven. I don't recall them having a Grand Opening. They need some balloons or something that screams "look at me". They in my opinion are a quality restaurant that also have large TV's. You can't go wrong with their burritos. I also had the milenasa torta. It was very good and flavorful. I hope they can last here on 6th street as some Hispanic culture and flavor is needed."
