"VERY LONG wait times here even if you order for pickup. They are soo slow here its not even funny. They do not care and if you come inside expect to be ignored for several minutes because they have zero customer service skills"
"Excellent food and good portions. Food is always cooked fresh to perfection. I usually have it delivered. Arrives nice and warm. Although this place has minimal seating, the food is always delicious and reliable. Staff is friendly, too!"
"I’m actually impressed at how bland everything was. The crispy wontons were stale and gross with almost zero filling. Mongolian beef was totally bland. No flavor. It just tasted like boiled beef. The spring rolls just tasted like boiled lettuce. The orange beef was nicely crispy and had some flavor, but not much. Even the mushu pork was only moderately flavorful after dousing it in plum sauce. The fried rice tasted like oil and thats it. We are severely disappointed and will not be back. I’ve never, ever had Chinese food that was so absolutely, impressively bland."
"Gosh where do I begin. I ordered food off of Chow Now because I received a flyer in the mail and though, why not try something Local. Ordering food was fine I ordered a family meal with orange chicken, orange beef, plain fried rice and wontons and then , a side order of egg flower soup and chicken chow mein. I get a call from the delivery guy that I NEED to come downstairs and get my food, no big deal, people get lost in this apartment complex all the time, so I go downstairs with my 8yr old to pick up the food from the driver. Upon meeting with the driver, he starts telling me that why did I leave him such a small tip, becoming argumentative and super hostile, he scared my son so we went back inside. On TOP of that, I got inside and the rice is missing. I send a complaint through the ChowNow and they call me to ask what happened. I repeat everything and they get me on a three way call with the manager of the restaurant, Ricky. Ricky was not rude, but didn’t really seem to want to lose any money. Our conversation consisted of a lot of awkward silence and “oh I’m sorry, really? Are you sure they forgot the rice? The driver was probably upset because it’s been a busy day. If you want I can re deliver the rice (which would have arrived well after dinner) or I can refund you the cost of a fried rice. “ I opted for the refund because obviously, why should I pay for something I didn’t receive. Furthermore, we get off the phone, my family sits down to eat and all the food is super super oily/greasy, like they were in a rush to get it out and sent it out straight from the oil to the plastic containers they came in. No one ate their food, so again, not only did I waste my time waiting for the food, I got a hostile delivery person and my food order wasn’t complete on top of the food not being good. It’s disappointing, and literally money thrown away because we had to throw all the food away. I won’t ever order from here again or recommend this place to anyone."
"Best Orange Chicken I have ever tried comes from China West Express. I have tried other items here and did not enjoy them as much as the Orange Chicken. The Orange Chicken is delicious! It is juicy and tender chicken. I could eat it everyday! The steamed rice or fried rice is a nice pairing with the O.C. dish. I recommend everyone try the Orange Chicken!"
