"Delicious food, great service, and amazing drinks!"

"Way less than impressed...... Had heard good comments about La Barra, and we were really looking forward to trying it out. We were bummed. First, they handed us menus that had no prices. We asked the server about prices and she said "the prices change so often that we don't print them on the menus anymore." And she made us feel we were being a pain to ask about the pricing. Bottom line.... there we three of us. 3 burritos, 2 margaritas and one beer: $80 plus tip. Blown away. Not going back."

"We are pretty lucky here in SoCal next to our neighbor to the south thus have lots of decent places for tacos and such. And perhaps I don't get in trouble by saying this but when you see a place is mixed with everyone with lots of our southern neighbors customers you know the place is legit. We haven't order anything, food wise, here and didn't like it, tacos, burritos, bowl and yesterday some chips with carne asada and they were all great, portion is nice, price is good and tasty stuff is what you will get. Been drinking tequila for a while but lately switch over to mezcal and love it. The bartender gave me a warning about the smokiness but ordered a coconut margarita with half sweetened and it just good. The mezcal smokiness it's just right but can't say the same thing for whisky though, anyone out there have an explanation or just personal preference. Next time will try something a bit smokier and see if I like it."

"This is by far the best Mexican eatery in Dana point if not Orange County beach area. Prices are great and outdoor patio is awewome . Cali burrito and beer is my go to ."

"Wow! What an amazing restaurant?!? It’s mainly Mexican based food, which I love, but then they decided to tease us even more and throw in some sushi. You can’t go wrong here at $8 a cocktail, magical atmosphere, unbelievable food choices, and quality face painting by ARTovator. May your soul enjoy!"
