"The BEST SUSHI in Dana Point - and in the OC that I’ve ever had! I loved how you can taste the freshness of the fish with each bite. The flavors of each roll were so delicately balanced and well seasoned that I did not even need to dip each piece in the soy sauce on the side. Every order we tried was unique in its flavor profile and kept you wanting to take another bite. I like how they use a thin layer of rice with the rolls and were generous in their portions of the fish/other ingredients. I LOVED every single item we ordered and especially the Yellowtail Carpaccio and the Jeff Special no-rice roll. Their Matcha Ice Cream and Coppa Pistachio desserts were both wonderful and not too sweet! 10/10 would recommend! Visited once during lunch and during dinner and at both times the service was fast and the servers were so friendly and knowledgeable. Will definitely keep coming back when I’m in the area."

"Dana Kai is a go to for flavorful rolls! They have their “no rice rolls” which I highly recommend. The quality of their fish is great so having no rice allows you to appreciate it even more. It’s a chill vibe and service is always good. This is definitely one of my favorite sushi places in Dana Point!"
