"I live less than 5 minutes from this place and am shocked it is still in business. I commonly patronize local independently owned restaurants in the area. I tried it when we first moved here over 2 years ago and decided to give it another shot. And I can say this will be my last time. The portions are miniature. Their tacos ($2.50 each) are literally the smallest I have ever seen at any restaurant, street cart or drive through from California or Mexico. Their burritos ($11 for bean and cheese) are also tiny. Perhaps those could be overlooked if it wasn’t for the rude staff. They were rude 2 years ago and rude today. They have an attitude as if they are doing you a favor by over charging you for tiny portions. And they also get exponentially ruder if you can’t complete your order in Spanish and have to ask for them to repeat it in English. There was multiple audible sighs of disappointment from the staff member helping me. My hope for this review is one of the following: 1) people stop patronizing this place so it will be closed , opening the opportunity for a new taco place in the area 2) the current owners seriously evaluate their business and make some changes. Start by clearing out the staff in customer facing positions and start over with new ones. Take a sample of some of your competitors in the area and adjust portion sizes or price. Real Tacoz is devastatingly inadequate in all areas you would want in a local restaurant and I absolutely recommend you look for any of the other local options."
"Credit card surcharge is completely arbitrary and not disclosed. The wife comes home with food and I look at the receipt. Over $1 to pay with credit card. Plus the burrito cost $17 somehow. What a joke."
"Consistently quality. Rarely if ever get an order that's off or substandard. Salsa is bomb. And the asada bowl is my favorite thing to get, perfect amount of food. Not too much not too little."
"For today’s Yorba Linda lunch spot review I’m checking out Real Tacoz. If you’re heading to Bryant Ranch, it’s the first shopping center on the right after coming from Yorba Linda Boulevard. It’s been a while since I’ve been here, but I have to say the tacos were delicious, I’ll be back again to try the burritos and other menu items soon. Only critique I have of the place is there isn’t much seating so if you’re taking it to go, no problem but if you are planning on staying a while or if you have kids that like to run into the parking lot like mine it might be a little hard to have a peaceful meal."
"Way to expensive, but the food was good. Tiny little drive-thru off the highway. A few outdoor tables. Ordered a Jr bean and cheese burrito for $7! I thought maybe their Jr was normal size and their regular size was huge...nope. fit in the palm of my hand. I understand prices are up, this was a bit much. Cheese quesadilla was $10, was good size full of cheese, but same, could have used a scoop of guacamole or something to justify the price. Nice enough staff, but to much for me to return."
