"I was in Aliso Viejo for a paint class and decided to dine at this new establishment. It's located in a shop center and there's a bookstore and movie theater nearby. I arrived in the late afternoon on a Saturday and was greeted cordially by the staff. The place is contemporary and chic, but has a casual vibe. I ordered wine and an appetizer and it was very good. I was sitting alone which sometimes makes me feel invisible. I ordered the main dish and then my server did not come back to check on me or to get my beverage order. The chicken pesto was fantastic, although the broccoli could be a bit softer. It was almost raw which made cutting with a knife hard. I had to press for a server to bring me the drink list and take my order. That was my disappointment. It's a common problem and I'm mentioning to create awareness that solo diners should get the same attention that larger parties do. Other than that, it was a really great experience and I would return. Thank you for the hospitality."

"Great atmosphere and decor, it feels welcoming and trendy. The staff were friendly..Good food selection; bowls, salads, seafood, vegetarian. They have a separate bar section too. Great for groups as well. I ordered a steak Kabob bowl and it came with brown rice, kale salad and hummus so plenty of protein. It was flavorful. The Affogato was delicious but pricey."
