"Conveniently located in a semi-busy shopping complex, this establishment has a clean and pleasant atmosphere. The employees are friendly and helpful, but you serve yourself, that is, you order your food and servers take it out to you. Food is OK, but French Dip could have been better."
"All time classic for many many decades ! The best quality at all food ! Try any breakfast all day ! My favorite ! Breakfast burrito, onion rings and double cheeseburger!!"
"Was in the area after visiting the dentist and decided to try it out. Figured I wouldn’t be dining in and went to drive through, and considering it’s sit down style food to go, I was fully prepared to wait a bit longer and wasn’t in a rush. Only one person in front of me (off-traffic hour) and waited maybe 10-20 minutes. Got the chorizo and ham breakfast burritos, they were toasty and the tortilla on the chorizo one was nicely flaky. I really liked how they weren’t overly salty (you can always add more but people who want lower sodium have a tougher time), great flavor and very nicely sized. The chorizo had a really good smoky flavor and preferred it over the ham one myself. The ratio of eggs to hashbrowns to meat to tomatoes was nicely balanced. I usually don’t rate on cost however they were running some sort of promotion and $13 burritos for $11 considering current restaurant prices was very good value. They asked if I wanted condiments and I said I’d take some taco sauce. Personally haven’t tried the Heinz brand, and unless you’re a fan, I suggest putting your own hot sauce since it lowered the quality of the food with it on!"
"John's used to have great breakfast. I ordered the Chorizo and eggs. This is what I got: All eggs and dipped in chorizo sauce. Very disappointed. Have the burger, stay away from breakfast."
"Our group stopped by for a bite after a hike. This place has an old diner feel and luckily we snagged the big booth in the back. I ordered the combo omelette, which came with hash browns and an English muffin. Honestly, breakfast is one of my favorites and this place serves breakfast all day. The omelette wasn’t as fluffy although it had a lot of meat. It didn’t look like the traditional omelette. It was also topped with melted cheese that looked unappealing. Reminded me of Kraft cheese slices, which I am not a big fan of. Taste wise for omelette, it was okay. Someone else in our group who also got an omelette said the same thing. Hash browns could have been crispier. Good portion size though. A couple people in our group ordered the gyro. Pretty big in size. One of them substituted the fries for fried zucchini. I think that’s the way to go. They did have a server come multiple times to refill coffee but not water. My friend asked one server for a to go container but she must have forgotten about it. So, someone from our group went up front to get one."
