"1/12/24 Had a great time at Knolls tonight. The ambiance was perfect and the band fantastic. Garrett is our favorite server and bartender and was amazing. The lovely owner, Beata, stopped by a was very welcoming and kind as well. Such an amazing ace and the drinks, food, and service are top shelf. The dance floot.has been expanded and the band area as well. We both had the orange salmon and several drinks and joined our friends their as well for a wonderful evening. Garrett is a true professional and made the evening that much better. Highly recommended. 5/28/2023 Another terrific evening at Knolls. We were seated by Garrett who also served us with the help of Roque. The boom boom shrimp appetizer was quite tasty. The drinks were fantastic as was the music by Eric Torreo. We had several drinks and each had an entree as well. We also danced a bit and truly enjoyed the overall dining experience. Good times. Knolls has music entertainment on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Recommended. 5/6/2023 Had a terrific time this evening at Knolls celebrating my wife's birthday with friends. The staff is always amazing and the food is very good as well. Luis was our server as we requested him as he is very attentive, remembers his guests' drinks, likes and dislikes, and makes the evening special every time. The band was quite good and played a variety of quality tunes. A great hidden gem. The bartenders are also seasoned and experienced and mix a mean cocktail. The calamari, salmon, and shrimp special and other food items were perfect. Luis planned a special dessert birthday dish for the entire party and made the evening that much better! Highly recommended and ask for Luis as he will truly take care of you! 7/9/22 Another wonderful evening at Knolls. This place is awesome. We went tonight and Jose was our amazing server..simply the best. We also met Enrique his brother who makes some awesome drinks...outstanding. We started with drinks and my wife had the apple martini and I have a few casamigos with club soda and 4 limes..so good. We also ordered the macaroni and cheese appetizer which was quite tasty. We had the honor of doing shots with Eric as it was his 34th birthday and he was running and enjoying the evening. We both had the Salmon entree which was fantastic. This place is truly a hidden gem and the music is always a plus. Top notch service, food and ambiance..we just love it. Thanks so much for always being consistent and stellar in service, food and ambiance! We highly recommend this amazing lil restaurant. Previous visit: Another fantastic evening at Knolls. We were greeted by Luis and Eric and seated at a nice Hightop table near the band. We started with drinks. I had Don Julio Repasado with club soda and 3 likes and my wife had the apple martini with dry ice. Amazing drinks....really well made. I had a cup of the vegetable chicken soup which was spectacular. Luis was our server and was extraordinary in evert way. We both had the Orange sesame salmon which is clearly one of the best salmon dishes in South OC. After a few drinks we met Phoenix from the Rock and Phoenix band that truly die an amazing job at entertaining the crowd. Top notch and I surely recommend the band as a return act. As a fellow performer I can recognize talent and this band shook the house. Luis was amazing is all aspects of customer service and we truly recommend appreciate the hard work and dedication that goes out in every meal and the entire service experience. Stop in this hidden gem and check out their full menu, amazing staff and entertainment on Friday and the weekend. Great time!"

"We have gone to Knolls in Laguna Niguel 6 times in the past 3 months. Every time the food has been good and served promptly. The waiters have offered good suggestions. We were greeted warmly upon entering and seated quickly. The owner (Bea) and the bartenders helped us with a special setup when we celebrated my wife's birthday with a group of friends; Bea was very accommodating with our wishes. We really enjoy hearing our favorite band, Joy of Sax, which performs there every other Thursday night. We are very pleased with Knolls restaurant."

"I want to start by saying I gave Knolls a only 4 Stars for atmosphere and that's for personal preferences only because it's a really nice place. O tend to avoid evenings there because they have live music a lot of the time and while that's great when I'm just out for fun, I prefer quiet while I dine. If I loved music while I eat it would get 5 stars. I have eaten here a lot. It is always good. The menu is pretty extensive and it never ceases to amaze me how good it is. Is it like going to Mastros or Capitol Grille? No. But value for your dollar I think its one of the best places you can go for a meal in our area. The bartenders and waitstaff are friendly, service is great the food is good at reasonable prices. What more could you ask for? By the way....Best fish&chips in Orange County. But by all means, don't just stop with that. Everything on the menu is good."

"Great neighborhood restaurant with an awesome bar. Live music on a Wednesday night!. Their margaritas are spot on and our favorite dish from the menu was the Hawaiian Poke, it comes with chips that are just perfectly crunchy and delicious. It has a patio with heaters and a fireplace."
