"Oh the staff there is very friendly and great to get to know. Atmosphere is homely and warm , comfortable in my opinion. Most of what I had was actually really good and worth it. The last dish I had was the salmon . I will tho have to say for that one is the veggies were overcooked and the fish was dry. But my other experience with the food has been actually pretty good."
"Ordered the “Grizz”. The food looked better than it tasted. Under cooked chicken sausage, tough pancakes & bland overcooked grits. The eggs was the best item in my meal."
"Black Bear Diner was recommended to me by my best friend who lives in Northern California. When her and her husband told me it's a must try, my family and I had to try it for ourselves. We loved it from our first visit and every visit since it has been nothing short of great. The prices are reasonable for this day and age. The food is SO good! They seriously have the best hash browns I've had from any place. I love ordering their big breakfast meal AKA 'The Grizz.' It comes with ham, bacon, sausage, eggs, hashbrowns, and pancakes. It's SO worth the splurge and hits the spot EVERY time! I like getting my eggs over easy so I can pop the yolks over my hashbrowns. Then I like topping them with some of their Chipotle sauce and ketchup. The combination is chefs' kiss. It's a serious must try. Today, I went with my dad, and we both got 'The Grizz' meal, which was delicious as always. I also tried their new hazelnut iced coffee that had chocolate in it, and OMG, it was amazing! I highly recommend trying it if you love iced coffee. The service was top-notch as always. The host was so warm and kind the moment we stepped inside. There, thankfully, wasn't a wait, and she immediately seated us at a table for two. Our server immediately came to tend to us and took our drink order right away. She was so sweet and more than accommodating when we asked her for a paper cup for my dad. It completely slipped my mind that he struggles to drink from regular coffee mugs because his hands shake so we asked her for a paper cup and she immediately went and got one for my dad so I really appreciated that. This place also has some great vegetarian options for those who don't eat meat, which is great because my mom is vegetarian, so this place has something all my loved ones can enjoy. I definitely recommend trying this place at least once if you're ever in the area. Also, can I just say I love the cabin like feel to the restaurant and all the cute bear decor. It's seriously so cute!! I love it, and I love that the menus are printed on newspapers. It's so unique. I just love it so much. Can you tell? Lol I think you've gotten the point. Go and try it when you have a chance. The service is top notch, the food is delicious, and the prices are more than reasonable for the quality of food you get. Seriously, try it. You won't regret it. I, for one, can't wait to go back."
"Classic diner dishes with bear sized portions. Make sure you come with an appetite and streetchy because you will leave full and happy. The food here is really good and they have some surprising hits on the menu, like the chicken fried steak benedicts. My parents and siblings love it, and so does my lawyer. Good place for a good meal without breaking the bank. Our experience with staff is always good too which we appreciate."
"Decent brunch spot. Had a wait brunch time on a weekday. I think the portions are very generous and the food was overall good. Don’t expect to be blown away but you’ll for sure be satisfied. The service on a side note was a bit delayed because of the staffing shortage. So expect maybe a wait or a bit of patience."
