"We went to UNI on recommendation of Michelle O. and we were very happy with the outcome. UNI serves amazing fish - Sashimi and Sushi - for reasonable prices. The atmosphere is wonderful. Romantic lighting and decoration that references Japan in every way and takes the customer along on the visual and culinary journey. The bottom line: Excellent food and atmosphere. I will be back."

"I recently dined here and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The plating of the dishes was beautifully done, showcasing the artistry and attention to detail that went into each creation. The food itself was delicious, satisfying my sushi cravings perfectly. The ambiance of the restaurant was also quite lovely, creating a visually appealing and inviting atmosphere. However, there was one aspect that left me feeling a bit uncomfortable. After being seated, the server stood closely behind me, seemingly waiting for my menu review to conclude. This constant presence over my shoulder made me feel uneasy and rushed. It would have been more enjoyable if the server had given me some space and allowed me to peruse the menu at my own pace. Despite this minor inconvenience, I still appreciate the effort put into the presentation, the quality of the food, and the overall ambiance of the restaurant."

"Uni has quickly become my new favorite restaurant in Garden Grove. The food, the experience/service, and the environment they truly hit every single point. The quality and freshness of the food is unmatched in town. From the Toro that melts right on your mouth to the Goldeneye Snapper's delicate taste you will be on the edge of your seat with every bite. I've been trying to find a new weekly sushi spot for a year and I've finally found somewhere I can look forward going to every week. Don't forget to get a glass of their house whiskey while you're there!"
