"Worst Chinese food I have eaten in California. Expensive too. Its Ants Climbing the Tree has no meat at all, only noodles with hot sauce."

"Amazing home cooked, authentic Chinese food. Northern style. Must try the pan-fried dumplings, and Kung Pao chicken. Braised green beans were fantastic. Beef roll is tasty, generous, crispy and not greasy or heavy. Everything was delicious. They do charge a credit card fee you may want to avoid by bringing cash presently."

"We went here for dinner. The food was ok good. We ordered the roasted beef green onions pancake and a noodles dish made with in-house noodles, which were suggested by the lady owner. We were told that both dishes were the house specials and people go there specifically for them. While they were good, we experienced better beef pancakes in Pasadena(crunchier pancakes and juicier beef). The house noodles were chewier and not as tasty as the traditional chow fun noodles. The lady was very nice and friendly. That is probably why the restaurant has high ratings. To us, the food was ok good!"

"Great Chinese food to be had here at Peking Restaurant. We have been coming to this restaurant for 40 years already. No one does the eggplant basil with pork better than they do. Today I wanted to eat some wood ear mushrooms and they just stir fried some with some veggies for me. Super yummy. Love the food and the people. If you don’t want MSG, you can tell them to not put it in."
