"I asked for fish taco especial with none of the sauces. The cooks put it in there. The receipt mentioned no sauces."

"The food is good but the service really sucks. I order three dishes and only one at a time came out. Too much talking between the cook(s) and cashier. Slow as molasses!"

"This location always and I mean al ate disappoints. I went in last night and ordered three items. The bowl had rock hard rice and the chicken nachos hardly had any topping but an abundance of salt. The whole order was a total waste of my hard earned money. I'm sick of gambling here and always losing . Ill have to take my chances and drive to Downey or los alamitos because I know Rubio's makes good food. This location just doesn't meet the expectations I have that are met with other locations. Not sure if this time it was becaus it was 7 pm or what but it's always something."

"I ordered the California bowl. I usually enjoy however this time around the rice was old and because it was old rice I was chewing on some pieces of rice that where really hard. Think of rice that has been sitting outside for a day and dried up and got hard. Maybe next time it will hopefully be better."

"Came back months later and ordered the Baja Chicken Salad with avocado. This time I really liked it. The flavor was super great. Everything fresh too. Size was ok and the amount of protein was fair. Ordered a chopped salad with natural chicken protein ($10.49+). If you’re looking for a low calorie salad option , I think this is the place. Small amount of cabbage, lettuce and a few chops of chicken. There are better options around for a salad."
