"I had originally been suggested to check out the Crimson Coward at the Downey location by a good friend. Since I was just a mile away getting coffee with the wifey, she asked if I'd be interested in checking out this location. I'm down, let's get some Tennessee style chicken samiches. We both got our own Chicken Samich combo. Fries and a fountain drink came with said combo. Daughter got their Chicken & waffles. I was the only one who finished the entire meal, while the wifey ate a quarter of her samich, and daughter ate half a Chicken Tender and half of the waffles. They have a pretty healthy portion when it comes to their meals. We all definitely enjoyed the Tennessee style Chicken here and will be back for more. Place is clean, organized, great service (the manager was quite accommodating) staff were helpful. This is a highly recommended restaurant for ultimate Chicken Samiches!"

"This was my first time trying this place out and had the worst experience. Ordered 2 waffles and both orders of waffles were hard and had blacks specks in the batter! To top it off I found something else that looks hairlike cooked in my food. I truly lost my appetite after the first bite."

"This place was ok at best. The guy inside was super nice and helpful. We ate outside and surprisingly he brought our food to us. That was super nice of him. As for the food. It was ok. It was definitely hot and fresh chicken. The chicken was cooked perfectly. Juicy and the stripes were a great size, and perfectly crispy. The only thing is the chicken lacks in flavor. I mean other then a mild spice when eating there was no flavor at all. Not sure what seasoning they use but it definitely wasn't much. Even the ranch had no taste. It taste like sour cream. Their red sauce also had no real taste. It taste like Mayo with a tiny bit of ketchup and I tiny bit of spice. All and all the service was great, restaurant was clean and nice, but the food was lacking in so much flavor."
