"Best crab I have had in the US. It is certainly not cheap but definitely more than enough for your party. Trust me, I have an 18 year old son who eats a lot and we didn’t finish the dish."
"Came here for dinner on a Saturday night. Recommend to make reservations as it gets busy during peak dinner time. We ordered 7 dishes and a soup for our group. All of the food items we ordered tasted average as nothing stood out. Portions are on the larger side. Service was typical for a Chinese restaurant meaning spotty service. Restaurant is super loud so it's hard to have a conversation at the table. Small parking lot in front but had to park on the street."
"On a visit to Monterey park, we were in the mood for Chinese food, our friends recommended seafood palace, located on Garvey ave. Took forever to find an empty parking spot, as it’s very busy place. We were party of five, so we had the chance to order multiple different dishes to share. The house special crabs, kind of spicy with lots of minced roasted garlic, looks and taste great, The house special pork hock, deep fried skins and also was very delicious. My favorite was the diced steak French style it was fabulous! We also ordered some vegetables shredded taro with chives very good. The house special giant prawns has great taste and spices. All in all it was good experience, it came to around $35 pp. I will definitely come back to try other dishes."
"Consistent delivery of high quality Cantonese food over years! We were here 15 years ago, liked it so much that we went twice in our week-long vacation. We came a couple of times this year after we moved here and are impressed with the consistent great flavor in the food. What makes this place great is there is no bad dish (of what we tried), which isn’t common even among LA’s great Chinese restaurants. Quick service both times recently, the servers could smile more. :-)"
"Parking can be rough but sometimes you might find a spot right in front like we did today! Or there is plenty of street parking. They take credit card. Plenty of tables and no reservations are taken. Service can be a little hard to get their attention but the waiter who helped us was really friendly. You will have to order rice separately but the tea is free and has a good roasty taste. We ordered the infamous shredded taro and chives (SO delicious) and the amazing beef dish (forgot the name but it’s one of their house specials). There were other dishes as well but these two are my favorite! Both pretty expensive at $22 or $25 per a dish. But it is tasty and my parents love this place!!"
