"Let me start by saying that all the food here is terribly GREASY, it’s hard to get the OILY flavor out of your mouth let alone clothes. Sad to say, but we THREW it all away, because of how greasy it was and the lack of seasoning, everything was so plain, what a waste of $70!! The food here is made on the fly with no kind of love. We ordered a Pan Con Pollo and as you can see in the picture they didn’t even bother to take the BONES out of the chicken ON BOTH ENDS!! The Flautas (Taquitos) lacked so much flavor, they tasted as if our entire order was cooked in the same grease. Pupusas tastes so much like oil that not even the watered down sauce helped. Soup had decent flavor, but after trying everything else nothing about it was appealing. Never coming back here again."
"My first time trying the pupusas and they were amazing! I got the revuelta, queso con loroco, and calabaza, they were all big and filled with the tasty filling. I also got the Salvadoran horchata and it was the perfect amount of sweetness. Really sweet service, I would come back."
"I tried the cheese and beans pupusas and they were very bland. On top of that, the salsa they give you is really watery and has no flavor. The breakfast was good except for the beans, which i found very bland as well. Service was ok."
"Talk about great Salvadoran food...Chiltepepe has amazing. Good food takes time to prepare so be prepared to wait for it. The pupusas revueltas are soft and filled with delicious stuffing. The black beans, with sour cream and plantains are so fingerlicking good. A must stop if you're in the neighborhood."
"Very tasty and the prices are good, the pupusas are big and it is better to call with time because they get busy!"
