"Kalaveras in Uptown Whittier is great. Nice brunch menu and drinks. We were a party of ten; the options were vast, so everyone had something they liked and enjoyed. Service was very attentive and helpful. I would definitely bring back the family here for brunch. Again, good Mexican food, flavors were delicious, plates were hot, drinks boozy. Good times!"
"I’m glad I ventured out of my hotel and found this place! Cool vibe in the historic district of Whittier. The Mole Ranchero Enchiladas were great! Really enjoyed the flavor and the little bit of heat. Only thing that missed was it had a bit of a bitter taste vs being smooth and sweet/spicy. My server even told me a little about molé that I didn’t know. I love fun facts! Overall, great food, good service, and a fun atmosphere. *The music is loud, if you’re looking for a quite night out this isn’t it."
