The Beach House @ Seal Beach

"The patio ocean views are spectacular, the food is utterly delicious, and the service great. One of the proprietors Frank, was great conversation, funny, charming, offered a great history of Seal Beach, Catalina Island and his property. He went above and beyond by giving us complimentary creme brulee for dessert. The experience was superb and one I will put into my "perfect life's moments memory bank." Thank you Frank."

"Update November 2023: I was craving the ahi salad so of course I got that but my friends got a steak sandwich that was on special and a tuna salad sandwich. Awesome place to be in 83 degree weather the week of Thanksgiving! Came here with my work buddies for a “school’s out” summer lunch. What an awesome day to be at the beach! I arrived at 11:30am and grabbed a nice table for 4 so we could all look at the beach. We started with a cocktail and calamari. The banana rum drink was ordered and looked fabulous. The calamari was delicious. I had been eyeing the menu the day before (typical of me) and went with the ahi bowl. I loved it and will be going back for it. The rice was a little dry but by the time you mixed everything up, it soaked up some of the flavor and puffed up! The steak salad was bomb and so was the lentil soup. They were not baking bread so an order of corn bread was ordered to go with the soup. It was soooo good. It looked like a pancake when it arrived but all 3 of us dove in and demolished it. Our server was great, always checking in on us! I can’t wait to go back!"

"I visited by bike because this restaurant is at the end of the Los Coyotes Creek trail. I was able to sit at a comfortable table outside, and the ambiance was excellent. I ordered the Ahi Poke Bowl and really enjoyed it. I intend to repeat the trip in the future and try out some other dishes."
