"The food and service were good I had no complaints. There aren't that many vegetarian options except breakfast. The dining room can use a remodel. There's some imperfections on the floor and walls but it's not that big of a deal. Still find this better than the norms on Avalon"

"Surprisingly, a pretty good restaurant. Food was good. Service excellent. Atmosphere: across the street from an oil refinery, the restaurant makes every attempt to accommodate in newly refurbished serving areas, such as, booths, tables and chairs. Just down the street from the Carson Auto dealerships, including Fletcher Jones Toyota of Carson, where we get our SUV serviced. The breakfast there was really good. Haven't tried lunch yet. But we might make a go of it someday soon."

"what a disappointing pastrami sandwich. I paid $17 for this and expected more than what seemed to be 3oz of meat. I got 2 good bites from the meal but most of the sandwich was just mayo and bread. Not sure if they made a mistake on my order or what. The onion rings did not have much flavor but did have a nice crunch. Perhaps offer a dipping sauce or season the batter. Overall, I can’t recommend this place, big let down."

"The food was excellent! I have to say I haven't come across many restaurants that will serve dinner at such an early time in the morning, but to our surprise, my son was able to get salmon, which was truly amazing for him. I got the country breakfast, and I can honestly say that I haven't had such a remarkable order of biscuits and gravy in a very long time. The service was perfect too. Hugo always made sure we had drinks and was very nice. Will definitely be back next time I'm in LA"
