"Kalavera's Redondo Beach is a go to for our celebrations and girls dinners. The ambiance is cool, a little dark but that's because there are neon signs lit up throughout the restaurant. All the TVs have music videos playing. We've enjoyed the song selections each time we've gone, the latest Spanish hits. Food is a 4 out of 5, home cooked Mexican Food is always the best. Pricing is fair to me. If you go as a group, be ready to see Gratuity automatically included on your receipt. I reserved a table for 14 people, before arriving I was notified they would not be able to accommodate us as one long table for my group but rather two separate tables next to each other. Thankfully, they notified me ahead although I really wanted my group to all sit together. For birthday celebrations they have a show type with signs and sparks, etc. This is an added cost but super cool. For drinks, they're a little overpriced. Sometimes they're just right and other times they're watered down. It's a hit or miss."

"Super nice place. We went taco Tuesday and they were $1 each. Margeritas and beer were really good and the staff were super friendly and efficient. Go there!! :-)"

"Wow!... The minute you approach the restaurant you feel the ambience take over you. The food is fresh and flavorful. The waitress absolutely wonderful. We went during lunch special, and would highly recommend going during one of the many specials and happy hours! Drinks are reasonable $$. We like to say "repeat offender" referring to visiting the place again and with friends."

"My husband and I came to happy hour prices were surprisingly reasonable....food and drinks were great! We sat at the bar after we were done and ordered another drink.... Bartender was a pleasant young man talking about all the different alcohols with my husband. I feel bad that I don't recall his name I want to say Jonathan perhaps but I could be wrong."

"Great place for a great time. The food is a bit pricey but if you're looking for party vibes and good food this won't disappoint. The drinks are delicious and during happy hour they are cheap."
