"The mechanic here saved my vacation! I was in Julian for the night and discovered my car battery died the morning I was to leave. A jump start got me to the O'Reilly in Ramona where I bought a new battery. They wouldn't install it for me and pointed me across the street to Ramona Automotive. I drove up and without hesitation the mechanic brought me into the bay and got to work right away. The old battery was completely fried and even smoking, but he worked to take it out and then installed the new battery. On top of this, he knew I was in a rush to get into San Diego and actually took the old battery back to O'Reilly for me to make sure I got my $22 refund for the core. Unparalleled service! I've been to auto shops all over the country and this was the best experience I've had! I wish I wrote down his name to thank him personally, but I felt really seen, heard and did not feel taken advantage of in the least. Would highly recommend if you're in the area!"
