Reviews of Valley Thrift Store
"This place is pretty great there is a big variety of items to shop for. I always see the staff working hard to restock the items. The only downside is the lines can be long sometimes and they only take cash but other than that it’s a pretty great thrift store."
"I stopped coming here about a year ago because prices had gotten so jacked up it was higher than buying new. I thrift because I'm on a budget, and for a while the prices here were obscene. I recently returned while hunting for a VCR. I had already been to 5 order shops, tried looking online, and scrolled through second hand options on marketplaces and sales sites and the prices I was seeing was preventative. However, I walked right in and found one for $10 and its tag color was on sale. I also found a vinyl record I was looking for online, only $1. I found a vintage hat, a hair dryer I was looking at online, a brand new packaged eyeshadow palette by lime crime, and a pair of new Adidas shoes with tags. Left paying just $22 for everything. I am very pleased to see prices going back to a more affordable level. I discovered hard to find items, lucky find items, and a few things I had even been shopping for online. I was pleasantly surprised and look forward to coming back."
"Too expensive now, at least for clothing. The deal of the day will be on specific colored tags, but good luck finding those discounted tags. Ive tried goin when they open too and there is hardly any discounted items out. Anything worth getting is close to $10-$30 now, unless it's in poor condition you can maybe get it for $6. Even some expensive ones are in very used condition. I don't even go anymore for this reason. Might as well buy brand new clothes at a retail store where you can try on & exchange in case clothing doesn't fit. Staff is ok though. They always look stressed."
"The cashier named Nicole was super helpful and friendly! She was a sweetheart and made our day. We had selected jewelry and left it in a basket up at the front, but another worker had already put it all back because they thought we took too long. She took the time to help us pick it out again from the displays. She’s a gem of an employee!"
"This is a good thrift store. Very Similar to shopping at an AmVets or Disabled American Veterans Thrift store. They have a large selection of clean shoes in every size. There is a lot of deeply discounted, “brand used” clothing, and new without tags items. Be aware of the replica Nike jackets… The logos are decent, but the interior tags are a joke and can pass for personal use only! Planning your trip: This store is very popular from the minute it opens until the late afternoon. Even weekdays. New items are stocked each day, the best time to shop is store opening. There is a large, private parking lot that is almost always full. The point of sale is slow. For business day transactions be prepared to wait in line 5-10 minutes. This organization accepts material donations that are tax deductible."
