"Atmosphere was great, staff took a while to attend me and others, I could hear them just chit chatting. No friendly greeting, just a stare. The bun was a little to big for the burger. No taste on the meat. Overall just a basic burger. Enjoyed the fries, just not the portion size."
"Menu was large, may be a little too much for some but certainly enough for variety. They had 3 different menus, a little overwhelming to look over. However, the cook/cashier was very friendly, the food came out quick in about 5 minutes and it was delicious. We had 2 hamburgers and 1 carne asada taco. Hamburgers tasted fresh. The taco had a nice cook on the tortilla, carne asada was tender and juicy, onions were cooked, and the hot sauce that came with it had a deep depth of flavor and perfect level of spiciness. Went last night and we're going back today!"
"Worst burger we've ever had. Bar none. We ordered the Solvang Burger. Granted it's their basic burger but it was horrible. The patty was less than a 1/4" thick but still tough as nails."
"Great food! We had a burger, patty melt, hot dog, fries, and chicken tacos for our family. Everything was flavorful and tasty. My son requested to come back for another burger on a later day of our trip and it was reportedly just as good. The seating area was okay but looked like it could use some cleaning."
"Worst meal in Solvang, period. Fried zucchini is small zucchini fries, lukewarm, that come out at $1 PER zucchini fry. Caesar salad is 2 cups of iffy romaine lettuce with a tablespoon of parm shreds on top. Enjoy picking out the bad bits. When you order they'll get your beverage...but leave it sitting on the side and not hand it to you because the kid taking orders doesn't understand that you let the drink sit for call-in orders, but not eat-in. Not recommended for the vegetarians out there, zucchini had some kind of dried out curls of meat (from the fryer or something?). Cashier is handling cash, register, and food with no gloves or any kind of sanitizer, which may be OK for back kitchen staff but not if you're touching food and also money & register. I'm a local and not expecting high end from a burger joint, but this place is depressing, not tasty, and embarrassing for everyone involved."
