"I worked here once a while back. The things I saw and experienced were terrible. Most of my time there, I was alone to handle anything and everything that didn't involve cooking something. The manager, who was also the cook at times, wouldn't throw away spoiled/rotten chili's and other foods stating that "they're still good." Flautas are frozen boxes or bags in the back yet claim they're fresh. The manager has an extreme attitude towards its employees AND customers. If you found hair in your food, he'd say you put it there, and you're just trying to get free food. His "playfull & fun" demeanor was borderline to basically harassment. I couldn't do anything to defend myself because he's the owners son and always will take his side. EVEN TROUGH THERES CAMERAS!!! If you got a good look of that business and its practices. NEVER eat here or risk getting sick. Don't give them money. They don't care about the customers. They just want to squeeze as much out of you as possible with little to show for."
"Got the flautas. More like taquitos. Pretty sure they're frozen and flash fried, so the chicken was tough and the tortillas were dry. Also the oil needs to be changed. Very bad flavor. The salsas are great! Service was awesome. The person that took our order with the tattoos and short hair was awesome! The air temp was very, very warm. Ventilation is needed for the heat coming out of the kitchen. Or at least prop the door open. Came once before and enjoyed it. This time, not as much. Added note, I like that they have the cebollitas dish. Simple is best."
"Food was great! Done on time! And staff was really nice. Look at that tasty taco salad! I had the pastor version. Really great."
"I love Mexican food. Having lived the first 12 years of my life in California I of course have my favorite childhood Mexican place. Recently settling in the Central Coast of California I was expecting better eateries in the area. Let it be known, Good eateries do exist around here. You just have to look for them. Not every restaurant is an absolute banger like most of LA and Northern California. This place? This place is currently my favorite Mexican food in the area. Of course I haven't tried every Mexican place in the area but as it stands this place stands above all that I have tried thus far. A great hole in the wall. Holes in the wall are always the best."
"Ordered tacos from here. A friend picked up the order. When she arrived with dinner. There was no cilantro or onion for the tacos. You have to package your own toppings, salsa etc. The cabesa was raw and odd looking things mixed in. The lengua was pink and tough. Not tender as it should be. The al pastor tacos were dry. They all tasted bad and made me quesy. Very disappointed."
