"I think because it's near the navy base they have to order food more frequently so the food is almost ALWAYS fresh!!! The wait can be a little long when it's a few people in the drive-thru but you can guarantee it'll be fresh. If you like slushes I definitely recommend the frozen Hawaiian punch with your meal."

"A tall man was outside, asking customers where they went to school, and as a woman who constantly travels in transit and is frequently harassed by men, I figured he was just another man trying to start a conversation with me and my friend. I did not know his intentions, so my first instinct was to avoid eye contact and rush inside. He was a worker and aggressively chased after me and my friend, to DEMAND we responded. Once we communicated that we are students at the community college, he rolls his eyes and says, “What do you think this is?” as he points at his McDonald's Christmas sweater, which looks like an average sweater from afar. It takes a big ego to believe women are looking at you and your clothing, especially after already using a raised voice at me as if I were a child. I understand NOW that there is a protocol for the high school students around the area to avoid skipping. But to the average woman who has never set foot in this McDonald’s, it was an extremely uncomfortable experience that left me nauseous, sad, and angry. I came to this McDonald’s because it was supposed to be my safest option in the area, and I left feeling unsafe, just like everywhere else around here. Make the workers wear vests, hats, or other attire that is more obvious when asking for such information. Recognize that young women do not want to see a working man merely asking for information that might put them in danger later on. THINK WHERE THEY ARE COMING FROM. Especially in downtown."

"The older white lady who worked register in the morning on Jan 3, 2024 is soooo nice and wonderful. She complimented my nails and just had the best personality ever. She was so patient explaining how to order on the kiosk to so many customers. She has so much patience. She is an angel!! I hope she has many good days ahead of her. Underrated human in general."
