"Product was received damaged , they have a 7 day return window . Calendar days not business , even though they are closed on Sundays . They do not wrap the hood itself in protective film so when it inevitably gets damaged in transit don’t worry they will send you videos on how to remove scratches for free . Was recommended this brand after doing research on Reddit . Stick with a big box store so you at least get decent customer service ."

"I had the Pro-X Series PX10-U30 for 10 years until the motherboard gave out and rather than replacing the board it made more sense to replace it so I bought the SU10-U30 with mechanical button control just so I don't have to deal with the motherboard malfunctioning again. I like the 900 CFM airflow which is essential for my high-heat cooking and Xtremeair has the best price around for that high a CFM. However, while both units are advertised as 6 Sones there is a dramatic difference between the two units in my experience. The PX10-U30 was much quieter than the SU10-U30. The lowest setting of the SU10-30 is louder than the highest setting of the PX10-U30. If I had known that I would have chosen the PX10-U30 again but it's nonsensible to take it down after paying a handyman $250 for installation, then pay for the return cost and wait ten days for a new one and pay a handyman to install it again. Something to consider If noise pollution is important to you."

"This place is a totally rip off. They add sales tax and still charging 3% if you're using credit card to purchase. The hood is stop working after 1 week. The buttons are not working as it is only for display according to the them. Cheap material and price is so much higher than other places."

I recently bought this wonderful range hood that my friend suggested to me. when i brought it home, all i could think about is how complex the manual might be and if i can pull off installing this hood myself. I finally received my hood in perfect condition. the manual was extremely easy to read and very detailed!! when i finished installing the hood, i tested it out by cooking a bunch of smelly foods for my family. Who knew! the hoods was so quiet and the the controls were so simple! the baffle filters are dishwasher safe and were sparkling clean when i took it out of the dishwasher! I recommend this product to everyone!!! With xtremeair USA hoods, cooking just got even simpler!!!"
