Reviews
"Even though they have many locations, this spot really feels pure local. A bit pricey for the baked goods, but I enjoyed it. They don't do artsy and flavorful lattes but not every place has to, right? [Edit: I said "chain" in my earlier review and that was wrong.]"
"This is my go to spot in downtown San Diego for delicious pastries! Living only blocks away, I tend to migrate over to do some work and enjoy a delicious treat and coffee. Every time my family comes for a visit they demand we come to Parfait for macaroons and croissants. In my last experience, Andrew helped me at the register and Frank made sure I was doing alright. I was even given a free lavender macaroon! Such a delight and wonderful staff!"
"Highly recommend. Every town we travel to, we try and find the best almond croissant. This was by far the most loaded with filling croissant we have ever had. At a great price point, too. We enjoyed it so much we went to their 2nd location in Anaheim to indulge again before our west coast trip was complete."
"This place was incredible. I came in and the line was long and they had a lot of food orders coming in but the staff handled everything so well and professionally. I had the onion puff pastry and egg Benedict as well as an almond croissant and chai lattes. I was expecting a long wait but 15 min later the food came and it looked incredible. The amount of effort and care put into the food I would’ve waited an hour easily. Everything tasted amazing! The portions were big and I can easily say I have enough for breakfast tomorrow. This place is a must!!!"
"This is my first time going to this restaurant. I wanted to check out some different restaurants while visiting San Diego. The avocado toast flight was delicious. I like the three different selections of AT served on one plate. The chef plates each toast beautifully. I selected this one because I looked at the photos that were given on Grub Hub. I was a little disappointed when my plate arrived because the portion size was considerably smaller than what was advertised. The photo showed that you would get 3 full pieces of toast, but actually, you get 1 and a half instead. I showed the owner/ manager the picture. She said that it was an old picture and that she would notify Grub Hub to take the photo down. Don't get me wrong, the toasts were sensational. In my opinion, I think if I'm going to pay $26, I'd like to get a larger portion for that price. It would have been worth it. That being said, I'd highly recommend the place. It definitely has a good vibe. Everybody seemed to have enjoyed their food. My compliments to the chef."
