Blue Bottle Coffee

"I've been here several times now. On my latest visit, I had a cortado and their Liège waffle. The cortado was pretty good up front but had a touch of acidity that I did not care for. The Liège waffle was very good. it was crispy and had good texture to it, and not to mention subtle sweetness about it. It has great color too. Customer service was friendly enough. I did think, however, that it could have been friendlier. This blue bottle offers inside and outside seating and is located at Westfield UTC Mall."

"Probably one of worst experiences I've had at a coffee shop. My fiance & I ordered hot matcha lattes and the guy who rung us up had a terrible attitude. Our drinks were barely lukewarm when we received them so I went back up to the counter. The barista responded with "well I can't heat them up now. Maybe next time ask for it to be extra-hot." There was a long pause and she then offered to remake them, but I declined because of her sassy initial response. I won't be returning...."

"The coffee is good here - you will get a well brewed espresso for your lattes or capuccinos. It’s not the best I’ve had but it will satisfy most coffee snobs like myself. The lines can be long depending on when you go and that can be frustrating especially if you’re hoping to get in and out quick. The matcha is NOT good here - I would give it a 2/5. They sell their own matcha but if you are matcha snob you can taste it’s not good- either they don’t use ceremonial grade matcha or don’t know how to make it - there are green clunks on the bottom and I noticed they keep ready made matcha in tall bottles near the register and that’s how they make the lattes. That causes matcha to oxidize and does not taste fresh. If you are serious about matcha you will be disappointed ."

"I’ve loved Blue bottle for many years since discovering them i I n NYC . Their iced NOLA style coffee is the best. It’s smooth flavor and chicory is amazing. This location is on the outskirts of the UTC mall, sort of on the Macys side. It faces a parking structure and is underneath the Amazon offices. Decent amount of seating inside and out. Service was friendly and fast. I had an almond croissant which was fluffy and sweet. Just great great coffee"

"The coffee is of course good, BUT, they have no outlet in this place which I find extremely annoying and unacceptable! Not even one!!! Their staff are kind and friendly, and it is blue bottle so the drinks are good! They don’t have outlet outside either! I hope they change this!"
