Reviews
"This place used to be cool , prior to it being purchased. They closed down half of the building and started charging more. WiFi used to be free. Now, it requires a purchase. I used to come in to study and half the time purchase something. Now, I'm going elsewhere."
"Great place for an open mic Monday. If you're interested in performing, get there early (5:30pm) to make sure you get a spot (10-15 min) on stage since it closes up early (9:30-10pm). I've only been once but open mic draws a good set of performers - even the novice. It's a great setting with an outside stage and plenty of seating."
"Parking is horrible. Of course what would one expect from University Heights. Have to walk everywhere which is nice but only if you live in the neighborhood. Walked into cafe- feels a little outdated --like early 70s vibe. Cafe and furniture could use some love- cleaning or replacing. I love old furniture but if you don't give it love it looks trashy. Coffee and service was ok. When taking customers order, one should cease all back counter conversations until order is complete. I find it rude and unprofessional."
"It was our first time trying Lestat's. Not sure if it was the day or the norm but it was less than I expected and the prices were incredibly more than expected. We paid $50 for a sandwich, salad, and a few drinks. Ouch! I took my daughter because she is in love with The Vampire Chronicles, and of course it's October, so it felt appropriate. The food and drinks were good. The gentleman that helped us was very nice. The interior felt run down. It was dead silent, which felt eerie. Of all things to get drained--I didn't expect it to be my bank account. I have a feeling that its desolate atmosphere has much to do with its prices. I don't know that I will pay for the value we received again."
"Ordered an iced cold brew and a hummus toast which were both perfect. I love the homey, cool vibe in this place. My barista Amber was charming, helpful, and skilled."
