"Came here after having done good lunch and the place was so cute! The woman taking our order was kind and helpful when we had questions. We ordered the Pearl Milk Tea from the Roasted Brown Sugar Series, the Lychi tea from the Fresh Fruit Green Tea Series, and the Matcha Cream Coffee from their coffee Series. The teas were so good, perfectly sweet and balanced and the coffee inside was strong but fresh and delicious! We only waited about 5 minutes for our drinks which was fast considering how busy they were!"
"Wow!!!! New favorite boba place! Super impressed with their selection of flavors and that both their tea and milk tea varieties are equally outstanding. On my 4 day trip, I visited them 2x and can't wait to go back and try more of their offerings. Highly highly recommend this place. Their near perfect rating is accurate and well deserved!"
"This boba place really leans into the cafe theme. Lots of intimate seating and a clean, sleek interior. The tea is good, perfectly boiled boba and mixed teas. The brulee drinks were my favorite, but you also can't go wrong with the yogurt drinks"
"I walked past the Mira Mesa location hoping they would open soon not knowing there was one already open! We jumped into the car so fast. Its a pretty spacious parking lot but there are several busy businesses in the same location. We found a spot easily in the back. No line! Really like the clean interior, the color scheme is neutral and relaxing. I like the way they setup the seating for groups. It makes it more intimate and private with the separation. The front has more open tables for smaller groups or two people. The service was quick. The menu is very simple and not over crowded with specials. I am not sure if this menu will grow after the soft opening. I got the brown sugar milk tea and my husband got the a green tea with light sugar. I loved my drink! It looks really sweet but it's not! I didn't have to adjust anything. The boba was cooked to perfection. I like that it wasn't too heavy on the milk side and not a lot of sugar. It was so refreshing. I will definitely come back!"
"Food: 4.5/5 Service and Setting: 4.5/5 Value: 2.5/5 I have seen Daboba here and there on social media and when I was searching around for a boba place, I was happy to see one close by. I will be honest and say that the vibe is very similar to the alley, but this particular store impressed me a lot. While parking in this plaza is always a pain due to a lack of spaces, the inside of the store is wonderfully organized with great seating options. I am too used to boba shops having horrible seating arrangements and being generally uncomfortable, but I really liked the bench and coffee tables that I am sure are from Aki Home. If you have a small group of 3-4, this would be one of the best places to relax and enjoy great boba drinks. The cashier, though she did not know everything about the menu, was very nice and helpful. I would and will probably come back! Brown Sugar Pearl Milk Tea: 4.5/5 The brown sugar teas come in a fresh variety as well and you can request oat milk which is a huge plus for me. The girl helping me recommended the normal milk tea (which is lactose free, the fresh milk is not lactose free) because it has a stronger tea taste. The tea itself is layered with brûlée on the top, salty cheese, tea, and boba with plenty of brown sugar. The drink overall is not overly sweet or rich, but very balanced. You can enjoy brown sugar in many forms from the brûlée on top, sugar on the sides, and syrup at the bottom. The tea has a luxurious flavor and is distinct. The boba is perfectly cooked and has a great texture. I will be honest and say that all good milk teas taste pretty similar to me and this one did not stand out in any particular way, but I appreciate that it was well made and I hope you do as well."
