"3.5 stars overall. We came here on a Sat afternoon and there was only one other occupied table. I assume it gets busy during the week with the work crowd in the area. We got the samosa Chaat, the bezwada biryani and the paneer biryani. We also got a filter coffee. The samosa Chaat was good but it was more Chaat than samosa. The filter coffee was pretty good too. The biryanis were good but could've been much more spicy (especially since we asked for spicy). The bezwada biryani would probably rank at 4 on my biryani list for San Diego (I have about 6 places in my list). It was miles away from the top 2 biryani options. My friend said their paneer biryani was pretty good. I'm glad there is an Indian restaurant in this region and I'll be back to taste their south Indian food next time."

"We came for a late lunch and I ordered a veg dum biryani. So the cook said there is pulav for the same price. I really wanted dum biryani. Guess what came out.. Pulav. Seriously. Don’t give old food. Not going back Response to response: I think I know what a veggie dum biryani is. That was clearly pulav served with some onions sprinkled on top. Wish there was some negative scoring."

"Delicious food (we had the masala dosa, samosa chat, parotta special with curry, ras malai, and mango lassi for drinks). The service was fast and friendly. The restaurant itself is clean and comfortable. Thank you and keep up the great work. See you again next time!"

"I had the veg lunch special. 12.99 for all that you see in the photo. Everything was well made with vibrant flavors and a good temperature. Lots of good texture between the fryums, naan, soup, and desert. The Rasam soup and shahi tukdha (i almost certainly spelled that wrong) desert were new dishes for me, the server told me they are common South Indian dishes. Simple service with self serve water on the table (i love this), lunch special came out about 3 mins after i ordered. I was able to order, eat without rushing, use the restroom, and be out the door in less than 30 mins, which was perfect because i was just on a break and charging my car at the tesla station across the street!"

"I went here for lunch during a week day . Ordered the customary Idli and a Dosa . The idli was hard and cold . The chutneys were not upto the mark . Sam had was decent but easily forgettable . Dosa was cold as well and dry too coz it was over done May be . There are lot of South Indian food options and in general Indian food options in the area . Wouldn’t recommend the Tiffin items at this restaurant . They have thali as well which is not a part of this review . The restaurant was clean and the service was good too though ."
