"The first few times I went (a couple months ago) it was sooo good. My past 3 consecutive visits, they have not added the flavoring I ordered in my cappuccino (and was charged for) and the espresso tasted burnt :( once or twice is an easy mistake but not sure how this became such a consistent problem, maybe an issue with mobile ordering specifically. The flavored lattes seem fine but when I try to add flavor to a regular cappuccino, they just don’t do it. It’s pretty frustrating and I probably won’t return at this point. Bummer."

"What a delightful place with great coffee and great ambiance. I loved the coffee I got and the peanut butter cookie. I met the owner at my open house prior to visiting this shop, happened by the shop on accident, tried the coffee and cookie upon suggestion by the owner and was happily rewarded with great flavor. I love lighter roasted beans. I was not disappointed. I will definitely be back!!!"

"Great stop for refreshment in a hot day! Beautiful and welcoming environment with friendly people behind the counter! Overall, great small shop go check out! Location: Java Garden is located on Mission Village Dr. in San Diego. Decent amount of parking outside and around the area. Walkable area around. Food / Drinks: They have a vast menu of drinks - hot, cold, caffeinated, non-caffeinated, iced, smoothie, tea, etc. They also had a good amount of bakery good options. We enjoyed an iced oatmilk latte and a strawberry banana smoothie for the kids. Environment: Family-friendly environment and a welcoming space. We love the seating inside and outside. The mural on the wall is beautiful and gives off a homey vibe. The workers were friendly and made the experience easy, especially while we juggled two tired kids. Overall, great store. I wish we could’ve stayed longer to enjoy the environment more, but from what we experienced, we’d definitely like to come back!"
