McDonald's 8929 Clairemont Mesa Boulevard, San Diego, CA 92123

"Literally the worst McDonald’s in clairemont/kearny Mesa area. Unfortunately for a quick dinner it is the closest to where I live. The fries are almost ALWAYS filled to half if not less. I’ve called the restaurant itself multiple times and I have never once got someone to answer my phone call. People working there are nice but their older lady managers is NOT. Sucks to spend money on food that you are going to want to enjoy and when you get home you realize your fries couldn’t even be filled properly and to top it off they tasted like they were made hours prior and were just sitting there. The worst part was that there’s weren’t any cars in the parking lot, none in the drive thru and none waiting for pick up mobile orders. I seemed to be their only customer and my food still got messed up."

"The food was typical McDonald's food but the lady at the register was exceptional. I wish I remembered her name to give her a shout -out. She was super nice and patient when I was tired and obviously struggling a little to order."

"I repeated my order about 4 times and they still got it wrong, just put whatever they want in the bag. Every time I come here they mess up my order. And not to mention the fact that once they say “how may I take your order” they follow by then saying “give me a minute” and have you waiting there for about 5 minutes ."

"Tried the new crispy chicken sandwich, their entry into the current chicken sandwich war. It doesn't even come close to the current top three chicken sandwiches of (1) Chick-fil-A, (2) Popeye's, and (3) KFC. The taste was ok, but the size was less than half the thickness of the competition. It was more in line with Jack-in-the-box's failed chicken sandwich entry. Update: Got the Filet-O-Fish sandwich. It was very good with tender flaky Alaskan Pollock sealed in a crisp thin batter. Update: Got the Filet-O-Fish sandwich with added pickles. Consistently very good. Update: Got the 10 Chicken McNuggets for $3.01 special, with honey mustard dipping sauce. Not bad. Update: Got the Big Mac and Fries special. Both were good. Update: Got the free double cheeseburger deal with hamburger purchase. They were both ok. Update: Got the Hot n' Spicy McChicken sandwich. It was basically a large processed chicken McNugget. It was ok. Update: Got 2 double cheeseburgers. They were good. Update: Tried the new cheeseburger. It was the same as before, so I guess the advertised changes haven't happened at this location yet. Update: Got 2 double cheeseburgers. They were good. Got a double bacon quarter pounder. The bacon was scarce and soggy, and the burgers seemed more greasy than usual. I would not order it again."

"I'd give it all 5s, but I'm saddened by the fact that you're now charged extra for syrup when you order pancakes. No napkins were available unless you asked an employee behind the counter. The bathrooms were decent for McDonald's, but could have been better."
